Welding shop follow-up text templates
Examples only. Every bracketed value is a placeholder. Swap in your shop name, the customer's name and the job, and change the wording to sound like you.
1. After the quote: post-quote nudge
Send it a day or so after the quote goes out, when the customer has had time to look but has not replied.
Hi [Customer], it's [Your name] at [Shop]. Just checking that you got the quote for the [job]. Happy to answer questions or adjust anything. If it looks good, reply YES and I'll get you on the schedule.
2. After the job: review ask
Send it once the job is done and paid, while the work is still fresh for the customer.
Hi [Customer], thanks for having us out for the [job]. Hope it's holding up well. If you have a minute, a quick review helps a small shop like ours a lot: [review link]. If anything isn't right, text me here and I'll come fix it.
Why these are short
A text gets read on a phone between other things. Each one names the shop, names the job, and asks for one thing: a YES to book, or a review. The second text also gives the customer an easy way to tell you about a problem before they post about it.
The free first-reply kit has the day-3 follow-up. The quote that the first text points to is laid out on the welding shop quote template page.
The other three texts
Day-3 close, 6-month repeat and slow-payer reminder are in the pack.
